VIDEO: Seattle’s Cherry Blossom Season

Nothing signals the start of spring more profoundly in our city than this moment – cherry blossom season – when dozens and dozens of cherry trees open their buds to full bloom.

And nowhere in Seattle is the site more impressive than at the University of Washington (UW). There you can find a Yoshino cherry tree on many corners of the campus. The center of the bright, white UW cherry tree display is in the Liberal Arts Quadrangle – better known as The Quad – where about 30 trees show off their beauty every year to the enjoyment of students, local residents and tourists.

It’s a sight to behold. So, let’s have a look!
